Theme: Frontiers of Basic and Translational Research
Dates: August 15–18, 2025
Location: Kunming, Yunnan, China
Hosts: Chinese Primate Biomedical Research Alliance & State Key Laboratory of Primate Biomedical Research
Format: In-person
Rapid advancements in stem cell research, gene editing, organoids, big data, and artificial intelligence are driving transformative breakthroughs in biotherapy and regenerative medicine. As a critical translational bridge for these innovations, primate biomedical research has emerged as a cornerstone of scientific progress.
Since its inception in 2004, the International Symposium on Primate Research (ISPR) has established itself as one of China’s most prestigious academic conferences in the field. Over the past two decades, through the collective efforts of researchers worldwide, primate biomedical research has achieved remarkable maturity in scientific rigor, breadth of application, and translational impact. China, in particular, has become an increasingly influential contributor to global advancements in this domain—a progression in which the ISPR has played a pivotal role.
The 10th International Symposium on Primate Research (ISPR 2025) will convene leading scientists, clinicians, and industry experts to explore cutting-edge developments under the theme "Frontiers of Basic and Translational Research." Key topics will include:
· Embryonic Development and Organogenesis
· Cell Homeostasis and Disease Modeling
· Stem Cells and Tissue Regeneration
· Embryo Models and Organoids
· Biological Therapy and Clinical Translation
This symposium will serve as a platform to:
· Examine emerging trends and future directions in primate biomedical research
· Foster international collaboration across disciplines
· Accelerate original innovation and industrial translation in biomedicine
We invite researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to join us in Kunming for this landmark event. Together, we will shape the next era of biomedical discovery.
